1、 Infrastructure

Fiberglass tape is usually composed of the following materials:

Substrate: Polyester (PET) film or fiberglass cloth, enhancing tensile strength and wear resistance.

Reinforcement layer: Glass fiber yarn or mesh fabric, providing high tensile strength and deformation resistance.

Adhesive: Common types include silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive, acrylic adhesive, hot melt adhesive, etc., which meet different adhesive requirements (such as high viscosity, low residue adhesive, high temperature resistance, etc.).

2、 Core Features

High temperature resistance: It can maintain stable performance within the range of -50 ℃ to 260 ℃ and is suitable for high temperature environments such as motor coil insulation and lithium battery bandages.

High strength and tear resistance: The tensile strength of fiberglass can reach 25-45kN/m, far exceeding that of ordinary tape, suitable for heavy-duty bundling (such as steel and mechanical fixation).

Corrosion and weather resistance: acid and alkali resistance, solvent resistance, moisture resistance, suitable for humid or chemical environments (such as pipeline sealing, ship bundling).

Insulation performance: Used for insulation of electronic components (such as transformer coils, cable cores) and explosion-proof protection (such as lithium battery insulation bandages).

Construction convenience: Strong self-adhesive, no need for primer, can directly adhere to cracks or joints (such as wall repair)

3、 Technology and Parameters

Select thickness (0.16mm to 0.25mm) and adhesive type based on load requirements (such as hot melt adhesive suitable for automated production lines);

Alkali resistant glass fiber mesh shall comply with JG149-2003 or JG158-2004 standards (tensile strength ≥ 750N/50mm);

Industrial insulation and electronics field

Insulation winding of motor and transformer coils;

Insulation protection for lithium manganese batteries and new energy vehicle batteries; Fixing of flexible circuit boards and ceramic components.

Heavy packaging and bundling: cardboard box sealing (especially for heavy furniture and marble);

The fixation and transportation of steel, wood, and mechanical equipment; Temporary fixation of household appliance components (refrigerator trays, drawers)

Construction and decoration: gypsum board joint repair, wall crack repair; Adhesive bonding of door and window sealing strips (such as EPDM sealing strips); Anti cracking reinforcement layer, replacing traditional paper tape

Automotive and Transportation: Automotive Interior Composite (Roof, Seats); Cable tying (bridges, ships)

5、 Precautions for use

This product requires auxiliary cutting tools for use. The fibers have strong toughness and are not easy to tear by hand.
