1、 Infrastructure

Substrate: BOPP film is made through biaxial stretching process, with tightly arranged molecules and high transparency, strength, toughness, and flatness.

Adhesive layer: usually coated with pressure-sensitive adhesive (acrylic or rubber type), providing instant adhesion without the need for heating or solvent activation.

Bottom layer treatment: Some tape backs are coated with anti sticking coatings (such as silicone oil) to ensure smooth unwinding.

2、 Core Features

High transparency: With a light transmittance of over 90%, it is suitable for displaying contents after sealing. Strong adhesion force: It firmly adheres to materials such as cardboard boxes, plastics, and metals, with balanced initial and holding forces. Temperature resistance: The normal working temperature is -20 ℃~80 ℃, and it can withstand higher temperatures in the short term. Anti aging: moisture-proof and anti ultraviolet (some models are added with anti UV agent), but long-term outdoor use may cause embrittlement.

Environmental friendliness: BOPP substrate can be recycled, but the adhesive layer may affect the recycling process and needs to be handled according to local policies.

3、 General specification options

Color: transparent, colored, printed (such as corporate logo tape).

Thickness: commonly 40 μ m~60 μ m,

Water based acrylic adhesive: environmentally friendly and odorless, suitable for room temperature environments.

4、 Advantages and disadvantages

Advantages: Low cost, high production efficiency, suitable for large-scale use. Lightweight, easy to tear, and convenient to operate.

Disadvantages: It is prone to brittleness in low temperature environments, and high temperatures may cause the adhesive layer to soften. Decreased adhesion to rough surfaces or oily substrates.
